Dr Arati Debnath is an experienced General Practitioner who graduated from Dhaka University, Bangladesh, in 1988. With a strong commitment to women’s health, she pursued additional qualifications, including MCPS, DGO, and DCH, before broadening her practice to care for patients of all ages and backgrounds — a journey that led her to achieve her Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP).

Since 2004, Dr Debnath has been practising in Tasmania, working at North West Regional Hospital and various GP clinics. In June 2024, she relocated to Sydney to continue her work as a GP consultant. She is passionate about all aspects of general practice and is dedicated to helping patients improve their health and wellbeing.

Outside of work, Dr Debnath enjoys gardening, spending time in nature, and reading. She is a proud mother of two daughters and is married to a fellow dedicated GP. With family at the heart of her life, she values building long-term, trusting relationships with her patients, providing care that is personal, continuous, and holistic.
